    Job Description :

    Development and Maintenance :

    • Develop, code, test, and maintain complex mainframe applications using Cobol, Db2, and JCL.
    • Ensure the reliability and efficiency of mainframe applications.

    Database Management :

    • Utilize advanced database knowledge (Db2) for effective data management and retrieval.

    Communication Mechanisms :

    • Implement and maintain distributed communication mechanisms such as MQ Series or CTG queues.

    API Invocation :

    • Apply technical knowledge for API invocation, demonstrating strong analytical skills.
    • Exhibit a learning mindset to upskill and adapt to new technologies within the Mainframe area.

    Agile/Scrum Collaboration :

    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver highquality solutions.

    Version Control :

    • Implement source code control using GIT or equivalent tools for effective version control.

    Software Development :

    • Utilize IDz tool for software development tasks, ensuring adherence to best practices.

    Continuous Learning :

    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices within Mainframe development.
    • Open to learning new skills and technologies within the Mainframe domain.

    Common Skills (Must Have) :

    • Senior profile with 68 years of experience and autonomy.
    • Dynamic and proactive profile with initiative and a willingness to learn.
    • Agile/Scrum knowledge & mindset.
    • Team player.
    • COBOL (Must Have)
    • Expertise in Cobol, Db2, JCL with good analytical and data structure knowledge.
    • Basic knowledge of CICS (Good to have).
    • Advanced database knowledge (Db2).
    • Knowledge of COBOL
    Distributed communication mechanisms (MQ Series, CTG queues).


    Good To Have Skills :

    • Source code control using GIT or any other Source Code control toolset.
    • Software development skill using IDz tool.

    Qualifications :
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

    • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
