    Description

    Position Overview: As a Service Captain, your main responsibility is to lead and supervise a team of service staff members, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth operations within the hospitality industry. You will oversee the dining experience, from greeting and seating guests to coordinating with the kitchen staff. Your goal is to create a positive and memorable experience for every customer while maintaining efficiency and adhering to established standards.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Team Leadership and Supervision:

    • Lead, train, and motivate the service team.
    • Assign tasks, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback.
    • Foster a positive work environment to promote teamwork and employee satisfaction.

    2. Guest Service:

    • Greet and seat guests, provide menu information, and take orders.
    • Ensure prompt and accurate service, addressing any guest concerns or complaints.

    3. Dining Room Management:

    • Maintain a clean dining area and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff.
    • Monitor supplies and report any issues.
    • Assist in planning and executing special events or promotions.

    4. Compliance and Safety:

    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Train staff on safety procedures and enforce policies.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous supervisory experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
    • Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
    • Ability to handle pressure and resolve conflicts professionally.
    • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
