    Plant Head- Operations (DGM/GM-CNG Division)




    Job Description:
    Plant Head

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Understanding of the Cylinder Valve Manufacturing industry
    • Develop and enhance knowledge of cylinder valve manufacturing processes, guidelines, and industry standards.
    • Stay informed about the latest advancements and technologies in cylinder valve manufacturing.
    • Offer technical guidance and assistance to the manufacturing team as required.
    Overseeing Complete Plant Operations:


    • Supervise all plant operations to ensure efficient and effective functioning.
    • Create strategies and plans to maximize productivity, quality, and safety.
    • Monitor and manage production processes to meet targets and quality standards.
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulations and customer needs.
    • Optimize resource allocation, including equipment, materials, and workforce, for operational excellence.
    • Continuously assess and enhance plant operations to improve efficiency and cut costs.
    Greenfield Project Management:


    • Lead the establishment of a new greenfield plant.
    • Plan and execute project timelines for timely completion of activities.
    • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams for smooth implementation of plant operations.
    • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues for minimal disruptions.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables.
    • Develop and manage project budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
    Leadership and Team Management:


    • Recruit, train, and nurture a skilled team for various plant functions.
    • Provide clear guidance, goals, and expectations to team members.
    • Cultivate a positive work environment, motivate staff, and promote collaboration and innovation.
    • Resolve conflicts, handle employee issues, and maintain a safe work environment.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to address potential hazards.
    Supply Chain Management:


    • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely access to raw materials and components.
    • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers for reliable and efficient procurement.

    Financial Management and Reporting:

    • Analyze financial reports to assess plant performance.
    • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on plant operations and performance.
    Stakeholder Management:


    • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop productive relationships.
