Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Modeler to join our dynamic team. The ideal

candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and expertise in

Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and SQL Server.

The Data Modeler will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing data models to support our organization's data infrastructure and analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities:

 Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business requirements and data governance standards.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and

translate them into effective data models.  Define data management strategies, including data migration, transformation, and synchronization. Ensure data security, compliance, and governance.  Utilize Databricks for data processing, analytics, and machine learning tasks, leveraging its capabilities for scalable data engineering and data science workflows.

 Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and efficiency in SQL Server environments.

 Develop and maintain documentation related to data models, ETL processes, and data

lineage to ensure transparency and compliance.

lineage to ensure transparency and compliance.  Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

 Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to support data- driven decision-making and business insights.

Qualifications:

 4+ years' experience as a data modeler or database developer, with a strong

understanding of database design principles and methodologies.

 Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory for building data pipelines and workflows.

 Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or Power Designer.

 In-depth knowledge of either of the ERP systems – Oracle/SAP/JD edwards

 Familiarity with data modeling standards such as Entity-Relationship (ER) modeling and dimensional modeling.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data requirements and develop appropriate solutions.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

 Experience with data warehousing, business intelligence, and data integrationtechnologies is a plus.
