Head – Supply Chain - Bengaluru, India - Health & Glow

Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Supply Chain and Replenishment to lead our supply chain operations and ensure seamless replenishment processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, replenishment with a proven track record of optimizing inventory levels, improving operational efficiency, and driving cost savings. This role will play a critical role in maintaining product availability, reducing stockouts, and enhancing the overall customer experience for health and glow.

Supply Chain & Replenishment Strategy

· Develop and execute the overall supply chain strategy aligned with the company's business goals and objectives.

· Design and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the speed of product delivery.

Procurement and Vendor Management (SCM related)

· Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards.

· Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and distributors.

Inventory Management

· Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent overstocking or stock outs, ensuring optimal inventory turnover.

· Implement inventory tracking systems and lead efforts to minimize excess stock and write-offs.

Logistics and Distribution

· Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of products to distribution centers.

· Implement strategies to streamline distribution processes and improve order fulfillment accuracy.

Quality Assurance

· Implement quality control measures throughout the supply chain to maintain high product standards and compliance with regulations.

· Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

Process Improvement

· Continuously assess supply chain processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Risk Management

· Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.

· Implement contingency plans to ensure business continuity in the face of disruptions.

Data Analysis and Reporting

· Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to generate insights and inform decision-making.

· Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Team Leadership:

· Manage and lead a team and provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities

· Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

Cross-Functional working

· Collaborate with internal teams, including merchandising, sales, and finance, to align supply chain initiatives with business goals and priorities.

Lead cross-functional teams to improve inventory accuracy, streamline processes, and reduce lead times.
