RESPOSIBILITIES:
Be responsible for the operation and Administration at Unit-I & Unit-III production includinga. emergency preparedness;b. embedding the company culture at the plant;c. managing harmonious internal and external relationship;d. ensure compliance with applicable statutory & regulatory requirements for the Plant.
Provide governance to Plant Operations to ensure that the infrastructure, processes and operations are in compliance with the cGMP standards and the Quality Management System.
Ensure that the production activities are carried out to meet the production plan provided by the Supply Chain Team after due consideration of new product, exhibit batches, validation batches, commercial batches and the material availability.
Review Processes at the Plant to deliver the Annual Operating Plan. Provide approval for SAP related transactions and release of PR where applicable.Product & Technology knowledge for OSD/SSD/Liquid & Respiratory
Optimal and efficient utilization of Available Recourses to delivera.) Production as per plan,b.) Implementation of regulatory and cGMP requirements.
Piloting the deployment of the Glenmark Manufacturing Excellence Program at the Plant Location in alignment with the strategic direction from the Global Operations Manufacturing Excellence Workgroup.
Provide Guidance to the Team to build a harmonious work environment within the Glenmark HR Policies and Culture framework to ensure the engagement & commitment of the Plant Team towards the business goals.
Keep self-updated on statutory / regulatory guidelines and product regulatory requirements of all markets to which product manufactured by the Plant is exported.
Foster amicable work environment in plant between union & management to ensure smooth implementation & execution of SOP's, production plan, continuous improvement plans & projects.

B. Pharma/ M. Pharma/ M.Sc.
Experience18+ Years' experience in Production
Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical)Regulatory Authorities Exposure, USFDA Audits, Formulations Manufacturing
Leadership/Managerial AttributesFacilitate productive discussions and provide thought leadership, strong review and implementation capabilities, approachable by subordinates and peers, very high level of ethical conduct and integrity
