About the Role
This internship position is for a Test Engineer within the Car Audio division, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in embedded software development for next‑generation automotive audio systems. This is a full-time, fixed-term (9‑month) role based in Bangalore, India, and requires working from the office to closely collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams.
What You Will Do
- Contribute to the development and testing of software following a defined software development process.
- Work on code implementation, developing unit test plans, integration test plans, and verifying functionality.
- Develop embedded C code and Python scripts.
- Gain hands-on experience with software development tools such as debuggers, emulators, and compilers.
- Perform functional testing on corresponding project hardware.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Strong coding abilities in C and Embedded Systems.
- Good exposure to scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems.
- Ability to use an oscilloscope and logic analyzer for troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of embedded operating systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
Bonus Points if You Have
- BE/B. Tech in Computer Science / Electronics
- Knowledge of C++.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of CAN protocols.
