SQL & SSIS Developer - Database Design & Maintenance - Hyderabad, India - Cloud Hire

We are seeking a skilled SQL and SSIS Developer with at least 4 years of experience to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL databases and SSIS packages to support our business operations.

This role requires strong SQL development skills, experience with ETL processes using SSIS, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

• Develop, test, and deploy SQL scripts and stored procedures to support business requirements.
• Design, develop, and optimize SSIS packages for ETL processes, data migration, and data integration.
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and SSIS packages for improved efficiency and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to database performance, data integrity, and ETL processes.
• Document database schemas, data flows, and technical specifications for future reference and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other developers and IT professionals to integrate SQL databases and SSIS solutions with other systems and applications.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in SQL development, SSIS, and data management technologies.

• Finance & Shared Services team provides support to both our client facing and internal business units across disciplines such as management & financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable, debtor management, payroll, data quality, finance system support and Business Intelligence development.
• In addition, we have other subteams under FSS which provides client service excellence on independence and other compliance checks. We have our client contract management team which provides dedicated support to our strategic clients in the field of reporting, contract reviews and their Adhoc queries.
• We also have our presence in the field of human resource function commonly known as People & Performance Transaction Services (PPTS) and now we have expanded our wings in Information Technology Services

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of handson experience in SQL development, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• 2+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying SSIS packages for ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL Server database administration and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling, and database design principles.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or TFS.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Certifications in SQL Server or SSIS are a plus.
• Any previous experience in Azure technologies and power BI is added advantage.
