    Job Description

    We are seeking a Control Management Associate to join our Corporate and Investment Banking Control Program team.

    • Participate in mitigating current and emerging risk exposures associated with the activities and operations of the assigned business group, and identify opportunity for process improvements within the scope of defined business control responsibilities.
    • Review and analyze basic business challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives.
    • Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing Control Management functional area expertise.
    • Provide support in the interpretation of policy, guidelines, and governance programs as front-line liaison to Independent Risk Management area.
    • Collaborate and consult with Control Management team and key stakeholders, including internal customers.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of overall experience in Risk Management or Financial Services industry, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of Operational Risk Management experience within corporate and investment banking-risk, control, advisory experience is preferred.
    • Superior project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
    • Excellent understanding on Measure and Metrics Program, Operational Risk-Key Risk Indicators, RCSA and Issue Management programs.

    Job Expectations:

    • Act as primary contact for team members in controls management, actively collaborate with business (Front line team members), global leads, IRM, Wells Fargo audit to ensure successful and timely program delivery of RCSA, SORA/KRI reporting, Issue management and Management reporting.
    • Contribute across RCSA phases, SORA/KRI reporting cycles including annual review, Issue management stages/activities or any other programs etc. in a proactive manner.
