    About Role:


    As a Program Manager in Engineering you will be responsible for sheepherding projects, ensuring cross-functional collaboration is seamless, driving the engineering organization to hit milestones, and owning Engineering-wide metrics.


    You will work closely with the SVP of Engineering and the rest of the team to ensure budgets are maintained, risks are identified and mitigated, and schedules are met.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development methodologies, a proven track record of successful project management, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    What you'll do:


    • Lead and manage complex engineering projects from inception to completion
    • Develop and execute project plans that align with the company's strategic goals
    • Manage project budgets and resources
    • Document the processes and procedures of different systems for knowledgesharing
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects
    • Own Engineeringwide metrics and report on progress to stakeholders
    • Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies
    • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders regularly
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members across the R&D team and the organization
    • Create and manage project plans that will be incorporated into the R&D roadmap
    • Collaborate with functional leads to ensure projects are meeting key milestones and deliverables
    • Provide written and verbal communication on project progress and escalate any risks or blockers to the projects
    What you'll need:


    • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • 3+ years of program management experience or equivalent
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to create project plans for complex initiatives
    • Skills to create user flow diagrams
    • Understanding of DORA metrics and how to report on them
    • Experience with engineering efficiency tools such as Pluralsight, Jellyfish, Uplevel, LinearB, Hivel, or others.
    • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and other project management and communication tools
    • Experience with Gantt charts or other forms of communicating and tracking project timelines
    • Experience reporting from cloud data warehouses like BigQuery using SQL
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
