a.) Business Development
Achieving organization's restricted fundraising inome targets through corporate CSR partnerships
Support the Corporate Partnerships Head in developing a robust Corporate Fundraising strategy, leveraging existing relationships and establishing new partnerships.
Adopt a robust prospecting mechanism focused at desired target audience - Generate leads, conduct opening conversations with potential Indian donors and develop outreach and partnering strategies with each donor
Track and list funding opportunities and maintain a pipeline of potential donors both domestic/ Indian donors and Global opportunities.
Coordinate with members for co-creating potential Global/ FCRA opportunities.
Identify, evaluate and track opportunities for lead generation like events, conferences, and seminars. Also, participate in such forums as and when required.
Make customised proposals to the prospect donors prepare high quality and competitive proposals by engaging with different stakeholders/ teams
b.) Grant Management
Manage, cultivate, enrich existing relationships and grow them to achieve set objectives
Report preparation & sharing with the donors (domestic) after collaborating with different stakeholder
Maintain connections with global partners and share reporting across
Ensure donor servicing, timely communications, regular engagement and holding donor visits/ audits etc. in a timely manner to ensure grant retention and additional grants from the same donors
Exploring and Managing donor requirements on employee engagement like employee volunteering and site visits.
Edit and possibly rewrite documents and reports developed by programme staff into high dissemination standard documents
Work in close coordination of WaterAid Programme, PMEL and Finance teams and members to ensure internal processes and systems for grant management and Reporting are adequately followed
Coordinating with communications team for developing Digital/Social - Media strategy for the corporates in line with the branding guidelines per the agreement.
Support on completion of the legal/ compliance documents for the renewal/ new/ upcoming grants for existing corporate partnerships.
Eligibilities and Qualifications:
a.) Qualification/Experience:
i. Post-graduate degree in business management, MSW, Developmental studies, CSR or related field, from a
reputed university/institute
ii. Experience of 7 to 9 years in similar organisational/ functional context
b.) Skills, Aptitude and Attitude:
i. Fluency in speaking, writing, reading English, Hindi and understanding of regional languages is an added
advantage
ii. Understanding of Program, Policy, PMEL and basic finance
iii. Excellent numeracy, attention to detail, ability to use spreadsheets and analyze the complex budgets
iv. Strong relationship and networking skills in order to maintain robust relationships with key external and internal stakeholders
v. The position requires travelling to Regional offices to meet and accompany donors during site visits and hence the candidate should be open to that.
