  • Job Title: Engineer (NOC Network Performance)

  • Responsible for handling:
  • Handling to Operations Calls and Utilization analysis of OLT, BRAS, NPT, EPT, CEN, MPLS/ISP and Peyto Network
  • Analysis & Closer for Ongoing Running high utilization case and provide the solution for closer.
  • Coordination with Operation, Planning, NOC team for faster closure within SLA for High Utilization cases.
  • Good Knowledge of Tester for OSNR and Switching test in network ATs.
  • Hands- on experience on BMC Remedy, Cygnet-PMS, Vegayan-IPPMS
  • Preparations and Analysis of MIS Reports/ Trackers.
  • Automation of Utilization and AT Process of CEN/MPLS/Packet/Homes Network.
  • Functional Requirements:
  • Must have very knowledge & working experience with complete Nokia (7750, 7705 and 7710), Cisco {ASR9K, 903, 920}, Huawei (CX600, ATN950B, ATN910C) , Juniper (m320, MX960, mx2020), Ribbon (NPT1800,NPT1200, NPT1050, NPT1022, NPT1050i/1200i & NPT1100), Ciena (8700, 5160, 3930, 3928, 5130) network product lines and technologies.
  • In-depth understanding and Hands on experience with routing protocols such as: BGP, OSPF, ISIS etc.
  • In-depth understanding and Hands on experience with MPLS, EVPN, RSVP-TE, G.8032 ERPS Troubleshooting on complex MPBGP services.
  • Good working knowledge of QOS/HQOS, HSRP / VRRP, VLAN's, Rapid Spanning Tree, Ether-Channel) VPN L2 & L3 solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting on complex L3 VPN services, L2 VPLS domain.
  • Good communication skill and customer centric approach.
  • Expertise in QOS design and configuration is a plus.
  • In depth understanding & knowledge of various switching protocols. eg. STP, PVSTP, MSTP, LLDP etc.
