Job Title: Performance Tester

Location: [Gurugram, India]

Experience: 6-8 years

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Performance Tester who is skilled in using Performance Center and JMeter to design, execute, and analyze performance, load, and stress tests. The ideal candidate should be able to engage with both business and operations stakeholders to gather performance requirements and collaborate with technical teams to articulate performance issues using appropriate technical terminology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business analysts, operations teams, and product owners to gather, define, and document non-functional performance requirements.
• Design performance test strategies, plans, and scenarios based on system architecture and business use cases.
• Conduct end-to-end performance testing using Performance Center (LoadRunner) and Apache JMeter.
• Analyze test results and monitor system behavior to identify performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other issues.
• Work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to identify root causes and communicate issues in a clear, technical manner.
• Provide performance test reports with detailed analysis and recommendations for optimization.
• Support continuous performance improvement efforts and contribute to performance benchmarking.
• Develop reusable test scripts and contribute to performance test automation initiatives.
• Participate in performance test reviews, defect triaging, and improvement discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Performance Center (LoadRunner) and Apache JMeter.
• Excellent understanding of performance testing types: load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing.
• Ability to translate business performance needs into technical test scenarios and metrics.
• Proficiency in performance monitoring tools and log analysis.
• Familiarity with protocols such as HTTP, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and database-level testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for integrating performance tests.
• Knowledge of APM tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
• Experience working in cloud or hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
