- Assist the Vice President in working closely with the Campus HOIs, to contribute to and implement the Institutional Vision of the University, and ensure that the Educational Philosophy is executed;
- Supervision of all matters relating to curriculum and instruction in the University, including outreach and extension courses and scheduling;
- Oversee faculty and academic staff development activities;
- Contributes in developing active and effective Program Advisory Committee;
- Assist the campuses with preparation and conduct of various inspections and accreditation events;
- Facilitating, development and implementation of academic strategic planning;
- Work with campuses to evaluate faculty, assess classroom effectiveness and correct observed deficiencies.
- Coordinate with the Registrar(s) to develop and implement Academic policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory statutes and accrediting requirements;
- Coordinate periodic academic program review and work with HOIs in the review, study, and development of curriculum and in the improvement of instruction;
- Perform administrative tasks such as processing of academic cases for approval of the Chancellor.
