Job Description
The Data & Analytics (D&A) Business Partner aids the IT Business Partner (ITBP) in executing the Data and Analytics roadmap and information services.
In collaboration with the ITBP, this position entails comprehending the strategic objectives of the relevant business unit, as well as the expressed and implicit information requirements of its customers. This comprehension serves to ensure that the necessary data, information delivery, and analytics capabilities are accessible to bolster the business's customer and commercial aims.
The D&A Business Partner collaborates with various stakeholders, including leaders from Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Customer Services within the Sales and Services Business for India. The role is primarily centered on grasping the business challenges and context from these varied stakeholders, reframing business problem statements into manageable analytical ones, and fostering alignment with business owners and the solution team on the problem's scope.
Responsibilities:
1.Collaboration and Consultation:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and data requirements.
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance on data-driven decision-making processes.
2.Data Analysis and Visualization:
Develop interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and business metrics.
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive actionable recommendations.
3.Prescriptive Analytics:
Generate prescriptive insights by combining data analysis with domain knowledge and business context.
Recommend strategies and interventions to improve business performance based on analytical findings.
Identify opportunities to leverage predictive analytics to optimize business processes and outcomes.
4.Data Governance and Quality:
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across different data sources and systems.
Implement data governance best practices and standards to maintain high data quality standards.
5.Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization in data analytics workflows.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
•Proven experience 8+ years in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
•Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and extract actionable insights.
•Experience with predictive modeling techniques and machine learning algorithms.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
•Familiarity with data governance principles and practices is a plus.
