    A premium distribution services company is looking out for a Regional Sales Manager – Luxury based in Mumbai.

    As a Regional Sales Manager for Modern Trade Start-up, you will play a pivotal role in launching and establishing our presence in modern trade channels. You will be responsible for building partnerships, driving sales growth, and creating strategies to penetrate the market effectively.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to establish the start-up's presence in modern trade channels.

    · Identify and prioritize potential retail partners and key accounts for partnership and distribution.

    · Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, and industry influencers.

    · Lead negotiations and finalize agreements with modern trade partners to secure distribution and shelf space.

    · Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop tailored strategies and promotional plans for modern trade channels.

    · Provide guidance and support to the sales team in executing sales plans and achieving targets.

    · Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities and threats.

    · Analyze sales data and performance metrics to track progress and optimize strategies for maximum effectiveness.

    · Prepare and present regular reports and updates on sales performance, market insights, and competitive landscape.

    · Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovations in modern trade to continuously improve strategies and processes.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.

    · Proven track record of successfully launching and growing sales in modern trade channels, (Preferably Luxury accessory category) preferably within a start-up or entrepreneurial environment.

    · Strong understanding of the modern trade landscape, including key players, trends, and dynamics.

    · Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.

    · Strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative sales and marketing strategies to gain market share.

    · Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

    · Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights to drive decision-making.

    · Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

    · Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.

    · Willingness to travel within the designated region and occasionally nationally as required.
