    Role:

    Supply Chain Manager:
    Demand, Supply and Inventory Planning


    Reporting To:
    Head, Supply Chain


    Type of Role:
    Lead role leading a team of 2-3 people

    Experience:
    SC MBA & 2+years of experience OR 3+ years of hands-on experience in FMCG or

    D2C start up demand or supply planning OR SCM consulting experience


    CTC:
    15-20 LPA


    • Develop and implement a robust S&OP process to ensure accurate demand forecasting, inventory planning, and production scheduling
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather market intelligence and customer demand insights
    • Lead monthly S&OP meetings to review sales forecasts, production plans, inventory levels, and financial projections
    • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations for optimizing supply chain efficiency
    • Work closely with manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of products and manage inventory levels
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the S&OP process
    • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the S&OP cycle

    • Very structured in daytoday work
    • Collabrative in nature.
    • The job involves working with a lot of cross functional teams while being in the hot seat. The person needs to be comfortable with this type of a role and have maturity to handle difficult situations

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of best practices in S&OP processes, including demand planning methodologies and inventory management techniques
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
    • Proven experience in sales forecasting, demand planning, or supply chain management
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights
    • Proficiency in using S&OP software systems or advanced Excel skills for data analysis

    Edge:
    Knows either SQL or R or Python

    Past experience in S&OP or having worked with a planning tool in their previous role.
