- To plan and oversee service activities, service capacity and service competency
- To perform service initiative; identify the service product opportunity in Service Contract, Product Training, Software Solution, Retrofitting and Upgrading
- To assist and support in ASMPT machine sales activities such as new account development, opportunities and repeat ordering
- To monitor machine acceptance lead time and field quality feedback
- To monitor local spare parts consignment inventory
- To follow up on purchase order for all billable service request with customers
- To manage and supervise a group of engineers, share knowledge and take accountability
- Be responsible for training and mentoring newly recruited team members, as well as managing performance and productivity
- To manage customer operational issue and customer expectation
- To communicate with other departments to find ways to raise the standard of assistance or services offered
- To perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in SMT field service
- Proficient in English
- Demonstrate capability to measure and analyze work performances, and to propose improvements to processes, including customer service interaction (i.e. requests and feedbacks)
- Good time management skill and effective communication skill
- Experience in conflict resolution
- Excellent leadership skiils
- Strong customer oriented mindset
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Able to work in a diverse and multicultural environment
- Able to travel on short notice
