    Job Description: Senior Project Manager

    Job purpose

    Research and Due Diligence (assessing new prospects) in our area of expertise

    Prepare and present proposals for new partnerships with NGOs to management and Board

    Monitoring, evaluating and developing our NGO partners and their programs with jointly defined key performance indicators

    Representing to stakeholders in India and be the point of local contact

    Being the provider of country insights for the international team members

    Give input and be a sparring partner in improving strategy, performance and procedures

    Profile/Personality (as additional information for Edelgive team)

    • to work through the full project cycle and to develop NGO partners and relationships
    • thinker - strategic and analytical thinking, ability to see the big picture as well as to go deep

    Being able to work independently and in a well-structured manner (proven project management skills)

    Job requirements

    Qualifications

    Post Graduate Degree in a relevant area

    Experience

    5+ years of experience with field work/frontline (direct interaction with NGOs) as well as with project management

    Functional Competencies

    Domain knowledge, project management, ability to work through the full project cycle (identification of new NGO partners – due diligence- summarize – present – monitor (M&E) and add value), and develop NGO partners and relationships, capability to speak and write in English in a professional and eloquent manner.

    Curiosity, analytical and critical thinking (which includes the ability to self-reflect and listen), initiative personality, a good team player with a collaborative mindset, ability to work independently and set priorities

    Interact with team and specifically also Indian colleagues during weekly meeting calls, share experience and lessons learnt, participate in internal trainings, report, present new proposals to Team

    Partnerships with Funders, collaborations and networking, partnerships with NGOs
