    Description

    General Summary:
    The role of the Compliance Analyst is crucial in assisting the organization to attain and sustain certifications within various global compliance frameworks. Collaborating closely with diverse teams, this position focuses on refining controls and evaluating their effectiveness to bolster the compliance program.


    Job Location:
    Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Supporting the Information Security team with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Conducting research, analysis, and documentation.
    • Influencing team members by explaining facts, policies, and practices.
    • Participating in various compliance frameworks and automation projects.
    • Identifying regulatory changes and implementing necessary adjustments.
    • Collaborating with legal experts to align compliance activities with regulations.
    • Suggesting control and process improvements and assessing operational effectiveness.
    • Removing obstacles to enhance internal auditing processes.
    • Engaging in customer interactions and vendor risk management reviews.
    • Leading compliance reviews of security incidents and contributing to post-incident reviews.
    • Supporting the cross mapping of controls across different frameworks.

    Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

    • Independently managing projects and processes under general supervision.
    • Adapting to new technology and processes as per business needs.
    • Collaborating effectively with stakeholders and external auditors.
    • Evaluating compliance issues and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Communicating effectively and preparing well-written materials for senior leadership.
    • Building alliances across diverse groups and producing meticulous documentation.
    • Exhibiting strong decision-making skills.

    Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent business experience.
    • 2+ years of relevant experience.
    • Hands-on experience in information governance, compliance, or audit within industry frameworks.
    • Preferred: Experience in software or technology services industry.
    • Preferred: Enterprise risk management experience.
    • Preferred: Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIPP, or CISA.

    Working Conditions:

    • Hybrid work environment.
    • Travel requirements: up to 10%.
