    Salary

    The estimated salary for this position is ₹11,00,000 to ₹13,00,000 CTC per annum, depending on experience and skills.

    Job Description

    As an Air Quality Specialist - Urban Transformation, your primary responsibility will be to work with city governments to implement policies and projects that enhance air quality in cities. You will work closely with government officials and stakeholders to support municipal action to improve air quality. Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Conducting surveys, collecting data, performing analysis, and producing project reports and presentations.
    • Collaborating and working with partners to further the air quality conversation in the city by supporting capacity building, conducting focused discussions, and convenings.
    • Working closely with the team to conduct impactful research and support the production of high-quality publications.
    • Contributing to proposals and development efforts on program fundraising goals.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, you should have a master's degree in Atmospheric Science, Environmental Sciences, Urban/Environment Planning or a related discipline. You should also have at least 4 years of highly relevant, full-time work experience in developing emissions inventories, activity analysis, source apportionment study, and developing air quality action plans. Prior working experience with municipal corporations generating DPRs will be useful for program implementation and project management.
