Job Summary
§ Manage the overall marketing and sales strategy within an organization
§ Design, execute and evaluate long term and short term sales and marketing communications for Maestro, including advertising and promotions, pricing, market research, branding strategy and customer service.
§ Advise and develop strategies for sales management, product development and distribution channel management
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Focus
§ Build the Maestro brand philosophy and advise on brand building strategies
§ Develop and implement an effective marketing and sales business plan in line with the strategic vision of the organization
§ Develop strategies and plans to identify new marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development.
§ Lead and coordinate Maestro sales and marketing and CRM functions.
§ Participate in fixing and approving Annual and Quarterly sales targets (project-wise)
Operational Focus
§ Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales and marketing department, while maintaining focus on the company's strategic goals.
§ Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, and monitor the internal operating budgets/sales collection targets
§ Seek out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company
§ Promote Maestro Brand at domestic and international level through
§ Monitor the effectiveness and ROI of each marketing event
§ Plan and monitor sales training on data management, client retention, social media activity, real estate listing services, etc.
§ Establishes performance goals for all sales department employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis.
§ Ensuring effective post sales activities including statutory compliances like registration. Ensure the registrations are completed within the defined timelines
§ Ensure timely payouts to brokers and other channel partners
§ Coordinate sponsorship responsibilities with outside organizations and events
§ Develop and maintain client relationship, enable smooth co-ordination to ensure efficient and effective customer service. (timely mails to customers on completion of each construction phase and reminders on payment schedule_
§ Frame policies to negotiate and manage contracts with vendors
§ Identify and attend tradeshows and other business functions to keep abreast of developments in the marketplace, to find potential new business
§ Monitor market Intelligence within the industry in terms of market development, new projects, competitive activity, new customers etc
§ Mentor the preparation of marketing reports for investors and management
§ Identify potential risks for the function in face of Maestro pursuing a rapid growth strategy and develop a risk mitigation strategy
People Focus
§ Responsible for people management activities for direct reports - determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing policies and procedures;
§ Recruitment, orientation, training and induction of the new employees
§ Planning, monitoring and appraising job contribution
§ Responsible to counsel and retain the top/ critical talent and keep the attrition rate low
Education and Experience
§ Bachelor's degree, preferably, in Media and Communication
§ MBA degree in Sales & Marketing
§ Minimum of 15 years of experience with minimum 10 years or experience in Real estate industry or channel sales industry with desired experience/expertise:
o Broad functional experience in areas of strategic planning and marketing
o Experience building brand awareness
o Focus on marketing expansion and identifying emerging market trends

§ Strong leadership and client-service skills, with proven ability to lead people as well as plan and implement successful marketing strategies.
§ Highly motivated with strong personal work ethic and ability to have strong customer service attitude with all employees.
