    Roles & Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities

    • Engineering and support of network-related on-premises and cloud infrastructure
    • Observability, reporting, and health checks of network-related infrastructure
    • Participation in network infrastructure-related incident resolution, reporting, and tracking
    • Documentation of network infrastructure-related policies, procedures, and current state
    • Collaboration with internal and external team members
    • Support escalation incidents and support on-call duty requirements
    • Adherence to team and organization processes and procedures
    • Maintain awareness of industry trends and issues with on-premises and cloud networking technologies

    EligibilityEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Three or more years supporting enterprise-scale network infrastructure
    • Two or more years supporting network infrastructure in a major cloud
    • Two or more years utilizing network automation, scripting, and network as code tools
    • Two or more years supporting the observability of network infrastructure
    • Enterprise-level experience supporting, and troubleshooting:

    Dynamic Routing

    Load Balancing

    Network Access Control

    Proxy

    VPN

    Wireless

    Zone Based Firewall

    • Experience with Agile/Scrum
    • Associate level network related certification required
    • Professional level network related certification is strongly preferred
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent in comparable work experience

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    • Broad knowledge of enterprise infrastructure concepts and best practices
    • Professional level network engineering knowledge
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong work ethic
    • Ability to multi-task projects
    • Ability to work and collaborate in a predominately remote workplace
