    Overview:

    Weare looking for a dedicated and innovative Bioinformatics Scientistto join our Genomic Data Analysis and Bioinformatics team. Thisrole is ideal for someone with a strong foundation inbioinformatics particularly in the analysis of nextgenerationsequencing (NGS) data. The successful candidate will have theopportunity to work on cuttingedge genomic projects applying theirexpertise to analyze and interpret complex data sets. Whileexperience in NGS panel design and a clinical understanding aredesirable our primary focus is on bioinformatics proficiency andthe ability to manage analyze and draw insights from large genomicdatasets.

    Responsibilities:

    BioinformaticsPipeline Development: Lead the development and optimization ofbioinformatics pipelines for NGS data analysis including variantcalling genome assembly and annotation.

    DataAnalysis and Interpretation: Perform complex data analyses toidentify genetic variants interpret their potential clinicalsignificance and contribute to researchfindings.

    Collaboration and Support: Providebioinformatics support to research and clinical teams assistingwith the design and analysis of genomic studies. Knowledge of NGSpanel design and clinical applications isdesirable.

    Training and Education: Developtraining materials and sessions to educate staff on bioinformaticstools and methodologies. Ability to explain the principles of NGSpanel design and its clinical relevance is aplus.

    Research and Innovation: Stay updated withthe latest bioinformatics techniques and genomic research.Contribute to innovation and improvements in genomic dataanalysis.

    CrossFunctional Projects: Engage incrossfunctional projects offering bioinformatics insights andsupport. Experience in panel design and understanding of clinicalcontexts will bevaluable.

    Qualifications:

    Ph.D. or Masters degree in Bioinformatics Computational BiologyGenetics or a related field.

    Proven experiencewith bioinformatics tools and databases and a strong background ingenomic data analysis.

    Proficiency in programminglanguages commonly used in bioinformatics (e.g. PythonR).

    Experience with Linuxbased highperformancecomputing environments.

    Strong analytical skillsand the ability to work with complexdatasets.

    Desirable: Experience in designing NGSpanels and knowledge of clinical applications of genomicdata.

    Excellent communication skills with theability to present findings to both technical and nontechnicalaudiences.

    Ability to work independently andcollaboratively in a multidisciplinaryteam.
