Job Description:

Quality Assurance EngineerQuality Assurance Engineer will be part of BNI's Global Information Technology Team and will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing various test plans to identify and report software defects.

The QA Engineer will work closely with other QA engineers, and developers located within the BNI office in Bangalore, as well as all levels of BNI Management and Leadership teams.

Job ResponsibilitiesWell acquainted with Software Development and Testing Life Cycle.
Involved in detailed test plans based on business strategies.
Good exposure to requirements understanding, analysing, writing, and reviewing test case scenarios.
Create test cases and maintain a library of test cases in our test management application.
Involved in various testing types- Exploratory, UI-Usability, Functional, Integration, System, End-to-end, Regression, UAT, PROD, and Non-functional testing.
Involved in test execution, analysing test results, and documenting discovered bugs in a bug-tracking system.
Involved in debugging and root cause analysis.
Involved in QA report creation.
Writing queries and creating test data in DB -MySQL/SQL Server.
Exposure in localization/globalization and compatibility testing for different platforms.
Intense testing of Web-based applications and Mobile applications.
Develop or be involved in automated test scripts for web pages / mobile applications.
Collaborate effectively with teammates and other stakeholders to improve product quality.
Participate in test reviews and retrospectives to improve testing processes and tools.
Stay updated on the latest QA trends and methodologies.
Be a positive team player and strong problem-solver to work with a diverse team.
Willingness to learn and teach the QA known practices.
Job RequirementsBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
Fluent in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a QA role.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in extensive testing of web application.
Experience in iOS and Android mobile application testing.
Experience with manual and automation testing methodologies is a must.
Must have hands-on JIRA, TestRail, Selenium/Appium, Cucumber, Java – BDD framework.
Experience in Agile Project Management Methodologies such as KANBAN/SCRUM (Advantageous)Experience with Jenkins, GitHub. (Advantageous)Experience in API Testing using Postman. (Advantageous)QA Certification will be advantageous.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
