    Broadpeak designs video delivery softwares for Content Providers and Network Service Providers deploying IPTV, Cable, Satellite, OTT and mobile services.     We are looking for our next Senior System colleague who will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers .

    You will will also participate in post-sales delivery services: installation & integration (commissioning, acceptance, and training) on Customer's platforms and demonstrations of Broadpeak systems to prospective clients and partners.

    The role requires close liaison with external customers and with specialists in the Broadpeak internal Engineering, Operations & Sales departments.

    What will my day be like?

    • Customer Care missions

    -You will be the primary contact and provide first and second level support to Broadpeak customers(Telecom Operators and Broadcasters).

    -You will also be the internal representative for escalation of support issues and follow through to resolution.

    -You will sustain a trusted partnership by holding regular/weekly meetings as well as ensure the compliance SLA commitments in terms of response time.

    -In coordination with Delivery services team, you will manage all aspects of on-site installation, commissioning and training services for new customers.

    • Continuous Improvement missions

    -You will use your technical skills to perform regular preventive maintenance tasks and propose performance improvements.

    -You will report as well as track bugs and maintenance problems.

    -Support Sales activities on a technical level at exhibitions and conferences. This includes assisting with planning and the setup and presenting of demonstrations.

    What are the requirements for this position?

    Hold a computer networking, ICT or technical related field diploma or degree.

    Minimum 2 years of direct experience in a technical support organization in a broadcast, communication, satellite, cable, telco or a similar networking environment.

    Fluency in oral and written English is essential.

    Be located in Mumbai (not a remote position).

    The + that will give you advantage for this position?

    You have strong hands-on experience on Linux operating system.

    You have a solid understanding of IP network switching and routing protocols as well as FTP, HTTP, RTSP, TCP, and SSH internet protocols.

    You have at least one first experience with the streaming video technologies:IPTV, Cable TV & OTT TV system architectures.

    Skills into the following are also desirable:

    -XML, HTML

    -Streaming video technologies.

    -Virtualization experience with VMware, AWS or Azure.

    Working Conditions

    The candidate needs to be sufficiently mobile to be able to support activities within Asia with assignments potentially lasting one or two week

    Be prepared to undertake both desk-based and practical hands-on work assignments.

    Be based in Mumbai (work remotly position).
