VXL Services Inc. based in North Brunswick, NJ, USA is looking for a hands-on full-time Senior Tax & Accounts Executive.

Location: Work from Associate firm's office in Bandra, Mumbai

Office timings: Monday to Friday 12 pm to 8 pm India time and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm India time

Joining date: Immediate opening

Job Requirement:

• Minimum 4-5 years of Accounting & Tax experience in a CPA or US Tax preparation firm
• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks is required; Advanced knowledge of Pro Series or any other tax software is required.
• Should have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience preparing and finalizing US individual and business tax returns, payroll registration, and processing, incorporation, and sales tax filing.
• Should have experience in interacting with US clients directly via email and resolving issues.

Responsible for the following functions:

• Finalization of client's books and review of work done by India-based bookkeepers.
• Preparation & Finalization of US individual, and corporate tax returns
• Interacting with US clients (via email) and internal staff to ensure all tasks are completed by the due date
• Payroll registration, Sales tax registration, and sales tax filing
• Company registration, working with various states to resolve customer issues.

The candidate should possess the following characteristics:

• Very strong work ethic and must be able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English
• A candidate with an accounting degree is required. Inter-CA is a must.
• In-depth US Corporate and Individual Tax return review and finalization experience
• Must have proven experience in working with other team members and be willing to assist and train team members if required.
• Must be able to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends if necessary during tax season.
