Software Development Manager (SDM)

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Development Manager who is responsible for building products and software features at a global scale for Fire TV customers across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work hands-on with engineering, leadership, and Product Management teams to deliver results while fostering inputs and participation from all levels of the organization.
• Design and execute your team's feature roadmap in collaboration with local engineering staff and a team of experts.
• Define software architecture, communicating effectively with engineers, partners, leaders, and a broad set of stakeholders.
• Advocate for strong engineering excellence and bring in software development best practices as well as follow best practices from the broader development community in Amazon.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations

Estimated Salary:

$150,000 - $200,000 per year
