    Job Title:
    WLAN Engineer 2


    Voice/Non-Voice:
    Voice Process


    Qualification:
    Graduate/Minimum HSC


    Shift:
    US Business Hours (24/7)


    Experience:
    Minimum 4 years relevant Network/Telecom experience. Network Operations Experience.


    Essential Hiring Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of Cisco or Juniper devices and network management in LAN/WAN environments.
    • Familiarity with telecoms, data, and transport networks.
    • Minimum 4 years of experience in telecommunications discipline.
    • Knowledge of Network Management Systems and IT Systems and Applications.
    • LAN knowledge and experience with network skills.
    • Experience in MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) or troubleshooting.

    Certification:

    • CCNA Certification is desirable but not mandatory if essential skills requirements are met.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform configuration changes requested by customers for moves, adds, changes, and disconnects on managed devices related to router, switch, and wireless access point configuration.
    • Handle new requests from customers as they arise.
    • Assist in network device installations, monitor staging and installations, and conduct site surveys.
    • Provide notification to the company of any material installation impacts or issues (e.g., missing circuit connectivity, demarcations not extended).
