Product/Project Manager - Anywhere in India/Multiple Locations - Consulting firm

Description

Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth

• Create buyin for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick timetomarket and optimal

resources

• Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
• Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

Represent the company virtually to customers to solicit feedback on company products and :services

• Assesses product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
• Provides information for management by preparing shortterm and longterm product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses, and answering questions and requests.
• Works with marketing and sales departments to ensure product success and market growth
• Completes operational requirements and meets product development deadlines

by scheduling and assigning employees, and following up on work results, including quality control and testing.

• Bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering, or a field tied to the product's sector (tech, finance, etc.) required, master's in engineering or MBA a plus
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• 35 years relevant work experience, including project management experience prior management experience a plus
• Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology and/or workflow management tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced time management and analytical skills
• Excellent clientfacing communication skills
• Strong attention to deadlines
• Proven experience in project management
• Must have a basic idea of Web Development, Mobile Development and related Technologies specifically MERN & React Native.
• Experience as an IT project manager for more than 3+ years
• Very strong work ethic with confidence to work autonomously
