WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a fresher or entry-level candidate (less than a year of experience)
• Has basic knowledge of material testing and characterization techniques using various analytical tools such as FTIR, NMR, UTM, HPLC, GC, MFI, IV Calcs - especially FTIR, UTM and MFI.
• Is comfortable working in a start-up R&D laboratory with chemicals, glassware, stirrers, distillers and filtration processes.
• Is also comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• As a bonus, is a doer who wants to work in chemistry and material innovation with diverse technical competencies in the field of material science/polymer technology, understanding of structure-property relationship of organic molecules or polymers.

• Someone who's willing to live in Pune, India (and commute to Bhosari, MIDC) - this is not a remote role.

You will:

• Execute and support on material characterization and testing (MFI, FTIR, UTM, HPLC, GC, IV Calcs). This role mainly involves handing laboratory equipment, helping in setting reactions or experiments, analytical testing, etc.
• Support existing projects and in medium/long-term innovation projects in the field of organic, polymeric and sustainable materials.
• Run regular chemical reactions focused on plastic recycling.
• Support the overall research and development initiatives to make Without (by Ashaya) a cutting-edge organization in the waste management space.
• Work closely with the rest of the team in a fast-paced, energetic, start-up environment to optimize our organization to perform at its peak. This includes being open to doing the smallest of tasks, in addition to the more complex ones.
• Be an important member at Without (by Ashaya), helping shape our next stage of growth.

Your compensation:

• A fair, competitive market-based compensation package.
• Stock Options (ESOPS) in the legal entity that vests over an agreed-to tenure.
• A 3-month mutual incubation period. Both you and we will have the option to end the agreement after three months if it isn't working out.
