    Marketing/Business Development Manager

    About Company: We are 70-year-old company representing several European producers of industrial raw-material such as metal alloys, chemicals, gelatin as well as semi-engineered goods such as components for industries like the Watch Industry, Electrical and Electronic Industry, Automotive Industry, Aerospace Industry and the Defense industries.

    Candidate's Profile: Around 10 years' experience handling sales as a key account manager - preferably catering to one of the following industries:

    Electrical/Electronic Industries

    Chemical Industries

    Metallurgical/Steel/Aluminum Industry

    Educational Background:

    • Technical Background (B.Sc, B.E., diploma) preferred. Alternatively, BMS, BBA, or B.Com - but then with proven sales experience.
    • Other skills: Fluency in English and Hindi is a must along with good communication skills, both oral and written. Should also be comfortable with making presentations to customers.
    • Basic computer skills - MS Office, Emails, Skype are required. Will be required to regularly prepare presentations, write reports, etc.
    • Should have previous experience successfully working with a sales team. Prior experience of working with international suppliers/clients will be a big advantage.
    • Background of sales in Metals, Chemicals preferred.
    • Knowledge of Import-Export Norms, relevant procedures, will also be a big advantage.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • The candidate will be responsible for the sale of defined products within the company's profile (to be determined based on the candidates previous work experience) to customers in and around Maharashtra, parts of central India and certain specific customers in the eastern part of India.
    • The Candidate will have to study the catalogues, literatures of the products they are responsible for and then maintain relationships with existing customer, and also develop new similar customers.
    • After understanding the current sales process of the company, the candidate will be required to both handle existing clients as well as identify potential new customers, establish contact with them and complete the customer acquisition.
    • Candidate will be required to travel to the customers regularly to follow up for new business development.

    CTC – 11-13 lakhs per annum, including performance-linked variable pay.
