    As a crucial member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of Synthetic infrastructure hosted in Microsoft Azure. You will design, implement, and maintain robust Synthetic workload systems, track service level objectives, and enhance the overall customer experience on Azure platform.     Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • 6+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration OR Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration OR master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
    • Minimum 3+ years of Industry experience as SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) with proven experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • 2+ years demonstrated technical, cross-group collaboration experience and proficient communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience designing, building, and running cloud services at large scale including C#, C++, or Java
    • Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architecture
    • Technical expertise on Azure services and capabilities and/or cloud platforms
    • Site Reliability Engineering experience in 24x7x365 enterprise environments
    • Experience with Linux system administration tasks and container orchestration platforms like K8S, AKS
    • Experience with high throughput customer-facing APIs (REST)
    • Front-end experience with Angular, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript
    • Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills
    • Interest in delivering and influencing large transformational projects
    • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Monitoring, and Logging platforms like Grafana, Prometheus, etc.
    • Able to work efficiently, prioritize workflow, and meet deadlines
    • Ability to communicate with various audiences, including high-profile customers, executive management, and engineering teams
    • Proven ability to cope with ambiguity and strive for clarity

    Responsibilities

    To excel in this role, you need a strong history of customer understanding, an engineering mindset, agility, and technical excellence in Site Reliability Engineering.

    • Develop a solid understanding of distributed systems design, cloud technology interactions, basics of dependencies at scale, and infrastructure code
    • Gain knowledge of Synthetic infrastructure operations, contribute to enhancements in infrastructure availability, and participate in code/design reviews with engineering teams
    • Develop Synthetic workload to enhance observability, reliability, and operability of platforms and systems
    • Support product engineering engagements, utilize telemetry data for potential code and design enhancements, and participate in incident response activities
    • Implement configuration changes across Synthetic workloads, troubleshoot problems, suggest solutions, and improve overall efficiency
    • Participate in on-call rotations, evaluate incident impacts, communicate with teams, and drive improvements through post-mortem reviews
    • Learn best practices from experienced SREs, collaborate with Engineering/PM teams, and drive continuous improvement in Azure platform
    • Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a team player with excellent collaboration and time management skills
