Learn more about Audit & Assurance Practice Your work profile As a Deputy Manager in our Internal Audit Team, you'll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations:

Key Job Responsibilities :

• Review project budgets, estimates, BOQs, and cost approvals for accuracy and adherence to approved standards
• Audit measurement books, RA bills, final bills, and variations for quantity, rate, and contractual compliance
• Evaluate contract management processes including tendering, award, amendments, claims, and dispute handling
• Assess project controls related to planning, scheduling, cost monitoring, and change management
• Review procurement processes for materials, subcontractors, and services for compliance and efficiency
• Verify compliance with statutory requirements, safety norms, quality standards, and internal SOPs
• Identify cost leakages, inefficiencies, and control gaps; recommend practical risk mitigation measures
• Conduct site visits to validate physical progress against reported milestones and billings
• Prepare clear audit reports highlighting observations, risks, financial impact, and actionable recommendations
• Follow up on audit findings and track closure of agreed corrective actions

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of civil construction processes and project lifecycles
• Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, contracts, and technical specifications
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills
• High standards of integrity and professional judgment
