    Engagement Manager (Data Science)

    The Role will be responsible for leading the analytics engagement for one of our Utilities clients. We are looking for a high-impact Analytics & Data Science leader to set the vision & strategy across business, customer, marketing & data analytics for client.

    This position requires a proven track record of transforming processes, driving customer value, cost savings with experience in running end-to-end analytics for large-scale organizations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Research, analyze, and present data as assigned.
    • Well-versed with AI/ML algorithms and predictive analytics. Experience of GenAI + Data Engineering would be an added advantage.
    • Engage with Senior leadership of large-scale organizations.
    • Design and implement demand forecasting models using time-series analysis, machine learning, and deep learning.
    • Work extensively with AWS services, including SageMaker, Redshift, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and Athena.
    • Implement MLOps best practices using MLflow, SageMaker Pipelines, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.

    Responsibilities Include:

    1. Develop advanced forecasting techniques such as:
      • Time-Series Models: Prophet, Exponential Smoothing,
      • ML-Based Models: XGBoost, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting
      • Deep Learning Models: LSTMs, Transformers (Temporal Fusion Transformers, N-BEATS, TiDE)
      • Bayesian Methods: Probabilistic Forecasting, Causal Inference
    2. Automate data pipelines for ETL, feature engineering, model training, and inference in AWS.
    3. Optimize forecasting accuracy by incorporating seasonality, external economic trends, and customer behavior signals.
    4. Conduct hyperparameter tuning using SageMaker Experiments and AutoML techniques.
    5. Build model drift detection & real-time inference pipelines using SageMaker Model Monitor.
    6. Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and product teams to integrate forecasting insights into decision-making.

    You will lead analytics & consulting assignments for a utilities client, drive data and predictive modelling led decision making, engage with the client's senior leadership to drive the vision and roadmap of Data, Analytic & Insights team, leverage data to help the Data, Analytics & Insights teams to get deep critical insights around product performance, pricing strategies, marketing analytics and any other business/product goals.

    Must Have:

    • Modeling Experience (AI/ML)
    • Client Engagement Experience especially with senior stakeholders
    • More consulting and analytics background
    • Effective communication and thought leadership with a proven record

    Candidate Profile:

    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering or related analytics areas
    • 9+ years experience must in analytics
    • Strong and in-depth understanding of statistical concepts
    • Prior experience in managing and delivering on end-to-end projects
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
    • Able to work in a fast-paced continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges
    • Is able to understand cross-cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe
