What you will be doing:5+ years of experience in:
Splunk Development / AdministrationExperience in design, implementation, and support of Splunk (Indexers, Forwarders, Search-Heads Setup etc)Experience with implementing and administering Splunk.
Good understanding with virtualization technologies (Hypervisor, VMware, etc) Apps/Dashboards for license usage and Application errors.Experience with Linux and Windows agents for Splunk administration with a solid understanding of the Splunk system.
Ability to create operations documentation for maintaining the Splunk infrastructure.
Nice to have:
Splunk Admin Certification Experience with databases.
Familiarity with server-side scripting Has a broad experience from either a development or operations perspectiveExpert understanding in data analytics, Hadoop, MapReduce, visualization is a plusExperience working in a software engineering environment is a plus Drive complex deployments of Splunk dashboards and reports while working side by side with the customers to solve their unique problems across a variety of use casesAssist internal users of Splunk in designing and maintaining production-quality dashboards.
