    Description

    General responsibilities

    In the role of Indirect Tax Lead/Manager, you will be a part of "in-house" JBS organization to follow up with:

    Manage JBS VAT process accordingly to the design with the JLL standards and procedures

    Maintain VAT risk analytics, policies, processes & systems ensuring compliance with EMEA regulations

    Manage the JBS analytical team to deliver the VAT returns with quality on deadlines

    Day to day VAT compliance activities team performance assistance to achieve the VAT returns submission

    TR-ONESOURCE process steps follow up for the EMEA user during tax return preparation

    Responsible for delivery of EMEA VAT compliance submissions and payments in line with set deadlines

    Management of EMEA VAT enquiries and proactively work with EU JBS Tax Dept on responses

    Initiate and drives efforts to streamline or improve processes, TR tools and compliance reporting

    Build KPI metrics to measure the quality and timeline of the compliance process

    Monthly meetings with key stakeholders to share the EMEA VAT process performance and improvements

    Analyse and agree with Global Tax on the implementation of changes for EMEA VAT legislation

    Identifies areas to improve the effectiveness of our VAT planning activities

    Manage relationship with external VAT advisors during VAT return submission process

    Carry out ad hoc projects to work with Fin/Global Tax on business activities to manage VAT risks

    Work with Global Tax/Fin to manage the Tax Audits and continue positive relationship with EMEA VAT Authorities

    Our requirements

    Master's Degree in Accounting/Taxation or Economics, Business Finance, Management

    Working knowledge of European VAT rules with min 3-4 years

    Experience in staff management and supervising juniors

    Project management skills, be able to prioritise and plan work to meet deadlines

    Maintaining close relationship close with Managers and Senior Manager

    European time zone availability(process based in Europe)

    Very good English and good at other European languages (advantage German, French, Spanish)

    Good working knowledge of Word and MS Outlook, Excel

    Improvement and timeline delivery focus

    Analytical and problem solving skills, strong communication skills

    Motivation, passion, enthusiasm to perform at highest standards
