    Application Support AnalystJD Job description:

    Application Support Analyst profile being recruited is making surethat the existing software architecture within the business isworking well and being used efficiently.

    You will be involved witha blend of programming and administration tasks; working withvarious stakeholders to resolve technical problems through analysisdiagnosis and solution definition.

    The role will require a balanceof technical skills business knowledge troubleshooting expertiseand excellent softskills.

    Your responsibilities:
    LiveOperations/Application Management : Act as aSME in 2/3 core applicationareas/components.

    Decide when to eitherwrite a script build a tool buy a tool or work with a developmentteam to address an issue.

    You are expectedto help Level 2 support deliver end to end closure of Business AsUsual (BAU) issues when needed.

    You willcontribute to service delivery & monitoring improvementsfor the areas/components you are familiar with. You will help identify prioritise &escalate critical issues o e.g. Feeding back to ProductOwners/Teams Contribute to knowledge sharingby helping other teams take on BAU activities that you havecreated/evolved. Troubleshooting basic tomedium complexity level issues. Assist inconcluding Incident actions (Problem Management). Participate & deliver projects forApplications you are familiar with.


    Teamwork:
    Contribute to discussions and decisionsfor the benefit of the platform. Invest inyou own skillsets to enable mobility between platform teams andeven between other teams within IT.. Support a working environment which promotes effective workingtalent development/utilisation empowerment collaboration inclusion.

    Skills Ability and Experience Required Experience with/understanding of differentmethodologies such as DevOps CICD (Continuous IntegrationContinuous Delivery)/Agile/Kanban Goodorganisational and prioritisation skills Anability to collaborate well with team members and wider businessSome understanding of ITIL frameworks Strong verbal and written communication Previous experience with some Scripting tools (e.g.

    PowerShell/Python/Batch) A good workingknowledge of SQL with some handson experience A desire to improve your own skills andlearn.


    Nice to have:
    Previous experience within the Payments industry AppDynamics or similar monitoring toolsUsing Maintaining & Improving. Somedevelopment experience (not necessarily in an Enterprisesetting).
