    Wayfair Storefront Analytics is the engine that powers an enterprise obsessed with data.

    The Wayfair websites (Storefront) generate Big Data from the millions of customers that visit our sites every day to discover and purchase home goods.

    The Storefront Advanced Analytics & Insights team is focused on understanding and optimizing customer behavior as a key enabler for the company to move fast and iterate quickly on big business problems.

    The Analytics & Data Platforms team aims to unlock & enable high quality Storefront insights and data capabilities at scale, driven by a robust and extensible platform of self-service capabilities across Storefront resulting in a higher-impact data-driven organization.

    Our customers are internal Wayfair teams.

    Specifically all teams and cross-functional partners on Storefront as well as teams who want to use Storefront data to derive insights and take data-driven actions.

    What You'll DoLead a team that enables us to build the best Storefront experiences on the Wayfair platform, by integrating analytics into the DNA of our product and engineering teams.

    Hire, nurture, and manage a team of analysts that supports the work of 15+ atomic teams across the platform and customer experience lifecycles.

    Own and develop the strategic analytics agenda and delivery roadmap across multiple work streams to unlock insights and guide the business and technology roadmap.

    Prioritize resources, hiring, and team topologies across multiple areas to balance the short-term needs with the needs of longer-term initiatives.

    Build capability to apply new analytical methodologies and techniques to the Storefront space, including reporting on key platform KPIs, measuring new capability adoption and user behaviors, driving quantitative investigations (key driver analysis, feature modeling), and modeling the team's impact.

    Lead on developing and expanding best practices in areas such as structuring analyses, data model architecture, dashboard design, and data visualizations to communicate meaningful metrics within the platforms space.

    Partner and influence senior leadership across the company to contribute to the strategic agenda of the Storefront Platform.

    What You'll NeedAdvanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or other quantitative disciplinesTrack record (2+ years) of managing platform, product or business analytics teamsExperience in leveraging A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies for effective product launch measurement.

    Experience in architecting and delivering impactful data models for effective platform enablement and customer experience optimization.

    High comfort level with programming skills in Python and SQL, and experience working with Big Data technology such as BigQuery and visualization tools including Looker; ideally familiarity with cloud-based platforms (preferably GCP)Ability to condense technical subject matter for non-technical audiences and succinct communication and to deal with ambiguity in a dynamic environment with shifting prioritiesAssistance for Individuals with DisabilitiesWayfair is fully committed to providing equal opportunities for all individuals, including individuals with disabilities.
