Weare seeking a motivated and savvy copy editor/proofreader tooversee our content editing needs in a fastpaced work environment.You will work with a team of writers and designers to curatecompelling and accurate content for our organization. Your primaryduties will include following a content strategy proofreading andediting and collaborating with coworkers to deliver qualityprojects ontime.
Toexcel in this role you will have experience in developing andediting content as well as excellent communication andorganizational skills. A Bachelors degree in English or relatedfield is amust.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewand revise content for accuracy and quality including spellinggrammar punctuation and syntax.
• Communicate andwork with production team to ensure that content is published in atimely manner.
• Knowledge of Associated Press orChicago Style.
• Ensure correct tone voiceclarity flow and structure of content.
• Ensurethat content adheres to the inhouse styleguide.
• Write blurbs ledes headlines andstraplines
• Compile and update style guides asrequired.
• Collaborate with team to come up withfresh and creative ideas keeping audience inmind.
• Ability to manage multiple projects andconsistently meet deadlines.
• Stay abreast ofthe latest media trends and content bestpractices.
• Knowledge ofSEO.

Requirements:

• Bachelorsdegree in journalism English or relatedfield.
• Experiencing in publishing and/orediting preferred.
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
• Highly organized anddetailoriented.
• Leadership and time managementskills.
• Proficient in desktop publishingsoftware and MicrosoftOffice.
