    Description

    Job Purpose:

    We are seeking motivated individuals with strong leadership, organisational and teamwork skills to join our Private Equity and Private Credit financial modelling team based in Gurgaon.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop results-driven strategies for clients, encompassing financial spreading and modelling, critical industry or market analyses, competitive benchmarking and opportunity assessments through in-depth research
    • Assist clients with complex financial modelling assignments in the Private Equity and private credit space, working on a variety of models such as LBO, DCF and Investment models
    • Valuate a range of securities, including equity, debt and convertibles
    • Perform trading and transaction comparable analyses and financial statements analyses by applying expertise in credit research, including debt analysis, covenant monitoring, cash flow conversion, capital structure, etc.
    • Interact with senior professionals at private equity firms and corporations
    • Conduct quality checks of client deliverables
    • Other activities include structuring deliverables/teams and developing efficient processes
    • Demonstrate strength and experience in client/requester relationship building and management, as well as information/knowledge needs assessment

    Skill and Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in building financial models from scratch
    • 4-7 years of experience in quantitative analysis, including financial spreading and modelling, trading comps, transactions comps, benchmarking, company profiling, capital structure, debt analysis, etc.
    • Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Accountant or Master of Business Administration from a top-tier business school

    Requirements:

    • Strong leadership, organisational and teamwork skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
    • Familiarity with financial modelling tools and software
