- Participate in the design and review of OAT test plans and test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of operational functionality, performance, security, and compatibility.
- Develop and execute manual and automated test scripts using scripting languages like Python or Java (a plus).
- Utilize testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JMeter) to automate repetitive tasks and improve test efficiency.
- Conduct thorough test execution, identify defects, document them clearly, and track them through resolution.
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and recommend improvements to testing processes.
- Participate in defect reviews and provide technical expertise to support resolution.
- Stay uptodate with the latest OAT methodologies and testing tools.
- Foster a collaborative environment and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 35 years of experience in OAT testing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) with a focus on testing methodologies.
- Experience in designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases.
- Proficiency in manual and exploratory testing techniques.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks (a plus).
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work effectively under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with API testing (a plus).
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner) (a plus).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) (a plus).
