    Role: Business Analyst - MIS & Finance

    Location: 98/A-30, Hadapsar Industrial Estate, Pune

    Overview:

    Pune Gas is seeking a versatile and results-driven Financial Analyst and Process Improvement Specialist to join our team. In addition, this role will be responsible for driving process improvements, implementing new SOPs, and optimizing systems across various business departments to enhance efficiency and productivity. The analyst will play a key role in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting strategic decision-making to drive growth and efficiency within the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Management Information System (MIS) Reporting:

    • Collect and consolidate data from various sources within the organization, including but not limited to sales, operations, finance, and customer service.
    • Create and generate regular MIS reports to track key performance indicators and financial metrics.
    • Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
    • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

    Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

    • Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning and decision-making.
    • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
    • Prepare financial reports and presentations for management review.

    Cost Analysis and Project Costing:

    • Support project managers in analyzing project costs and expenditures.
    • Assist in developing project budgets and monitoring spending against budgeted targets.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for cost optimization.

    Process Improvement and SOP Implementation:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
    • Design and implement new SOPs and workflows to streamline business operations.
    • Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans, initiatives, and projects to support business growth and operational excellence.

    System Optimization and Integration:

    • Evaluate existing systems and tools to identify opportunities for optimization and integration.
    • Work with other departments to implement new systems and technologies.
    • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems.
    • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend corrective actions.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
    • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
    • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software applications.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
