Description

We are seeking a Compliance Head to serve as the primary point of contact for retail business compliance and regulatory advisory. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements from the RBI, reviewing and updating internal policies, and monitoring regulatory developments. This role requires a strong leader who can identify compliance vulnerabilities, manage regulatory inspections, and drive key projects related to compliance automation and implementation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Advisory: Provide regulatory advisory and clarifications to internal stakeholders and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements of the RBI and internal policies.
• Compliance Oversight: Serve as the primary point of contact for retail business compliance, including housing loans, personal loans, digital lending, and LAP.
• Policy Management: Review and update policies and procedures for the retail business and monitor regulatory developments to assess their impact on operations.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risks, and develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution.
• Stakeholder Management: Foster effective relationships with both internal stakeholders (Business, Legal, Risk, Operations) and external stakeholders (Statutory Auditors, Regulators).
• Project Leadership: Drive key assignments and projects, including automation relating to compliance, and supervise end-to-end completion and implementation.
• Regulatory Inspections: Be responsible for handling regulatory inspections and managing all pre- and post-inspection related activities.
• Team Leadership: Support the Chief Compliance Officer and the team in ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and monitoring compliance with internal policies.

Skills Required:

• Proven and rich experience in compliance within Banks or NBFCs.
• Practical knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines related to retail lending.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership abilities as a team leader.

QUALIFICATION:

• CA/CS/ LLB/MBA in Finance.
