Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹20000 per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Electrician to join our service team at POPULAR MEGA MOTORS TATA Motors, Kannur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in commercial vehicles (trucks, buses, etc.)
• Install and maintain electrical components like wiring, lighting systems, alternators, starters, batteries, and sensors
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify electrical issues
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
• Ensure all repairs meet TATA Motors quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with mechanics and service advisors to provide complete vehicle care
• Maintain service records and update job cards
• Follow company safety protocols and workshop discipline

Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma in Automobile/Electrical or related field
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an Automotive Electrician (preferably with commercial vehicles)
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems
• Ability to use diagnostic tools (scanner, multimeter, etc.)
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred:

• Experience with vehicles
• Valid LMV license
