    You should possess excellent communication and teamwork skills and have confidence in working on your own initiative.

    You will be required to work during European business hours from Monday-Friday, Weekly On-call will be on a rotational basis.

    Role PurposeWe are looking for an experienced professional who is an autonomous, experienced, self-driven Network fanatic.

    The role is to manage the Network and Security devices proactively and reactively, act on alarms from our network management systems, and act on incidents reported by our customers.

    Troubleshoot & and analyze incidents and changes, and make suggestions to fix and implement the solution. Test and deploy software upgrades or security patches. Work as a full member of our international team that consists of 50 Engineers globally.

    • Manages the design, implementation, and ongoing management of mainly Cisco environments, including LAN, WAN, and Wireless Environments. Coordinates with networking vendors to ensure appropriate platform integration and performance. Makes recommendations to senior management on new technologies and products for enhancement of the network.
    • Leads and participates in the installation of Network systems and equipment for new facilities and expansions. Tests, debugs, and analyses performance, and documents infrastructure components.
    • Develop network infrastructure installation procedures to ensure successful integration of systems hardware/software. Develops and recommends technical strategies and solutions to maintain and/or expand service levels.
    • Monitors and analyses network and provides results on a regular basis. Takes corrective action to improve data network.
    • Responds to emergency situations and can perform effective troubleshooting during production outages.
    • Assist in guiding, training, instructing, and assisting others at peer or lower levels on technical issues and products.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, plan, establish, and optimize wireless networks.
    • Design and implement WLANs and other wireless networks.
    • Develop wireless network infrastructures and make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization.
    • Be the lead for any wireless-related activities.
    • Provide technical assessment of requirements and definition from conception to launch.
    • Train and mentor other engineers.
    • Design and validate RF link performance, quality, and reliability.
    • Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and adjust equipment.
    • Create manuals and support documentation.
    • Optimize existing networks by adjusting radio network parameters, adding/deleting neighbors, and recommending possible solutions to hardware problems.
    • Monitor and analyze statistical and drive test data to improve system performance indicators.
    • Responsible for capacity planning
    • Proficient in at least 2 of the following technologies:o Ciscoo Merakio Aruba
    • Any Wireless-related certifications would be a great plus.o Ciscoo CWNPo Merakio Aruba .This role involves client interaction. The scope of products/vendors is covered below too. Cisco (Routing & SDWAN, ACI / Catalyst & Nexus Switching /Firewalls/F5 Load Balancers Secondary

    Skills:
    Experienced in one of the following.

    Accountabilities:

    • Act on Incidents reported by our network management tools.
    • Act on Incidents reported by the customer (via our service desk)
    • Proactively test & and upgrade software on various devices
    • Analyse capacity management reports & and propose improvements.
    • Prepare and execute Change requests.
    • Remotely Configure new devices
    • Interact with multiple teams (Helpdesk, Customer, Service Delivery Managers)
    • Make technical advisory/designs for customer network migrations.
    • Make technical advisory to improve customer security environment.
    • Communicate & and raise incidents to 3the party (vendors/telecom providers)
    • Create and update documentation sets.
    • Propose improvement plans (technical & and human activity)
    • Proactively seek guidance from peers and seniors where required.
    • Team presentations on your activities
    • Propose improvements for our network management tools / Configuration.
    • Analyse reporting before used by Service Delivery Manager
    • Understand vendor product/solution evolutions.
    Core Skills

    • Minimum 8 years relevant experience in Wireless (Cisco, Meraki, and or Aruba) as well as any of the Firewall experience mentioned in Secondary Skills
    • Hands-on experience working in an ITIL-structured organization dealing with Incident / Change / Problem management.
    • Expert with implementing and supporting routing protocols.
    • Experience with Wireshark or other protocol analyzers.
    • Configuring network & security devices with end-to-end security in mind.
    • Configuring end to end Quality of Service
    • Troubleshoot using traffic analyzers, NetFlow collectors, and capacity management tools.
    • Understand how to interpret wireless (WIFI) site survey reports.
    • Execute/tune wireless (WIFI) radio management.
    • Incident Report Document writing.
    • Documentation (MS Word) & drawing (MS Visio) updates
    • Participating in Team & Customer meetings.
