    So how can you contribute as part of the ShareFile team? We are searching for someone who can help us make a little magic for our customers and their clients every day. As a Cloud Engineer, you would play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining a robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure for the organization. Your goal would be to architect, implement, and manage resilient and scalable cloud infrastructure, optimizing performance, security, and cost-effectiveness to meet the organization's business objectives.

    Role Overview:

    Now, let's get to the details. This role involves creating scalable and secure solutions, optimizing resource utilization, ensuring high performance, and managing cloud services to align with business needs. This includes:

  • Architecture Design: Develop scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architecture that meets performance and reliability requirements. Evaluate and select appropriate cloud services and technologies based on business needs.
  • Automation and Orchestration: Implement automation tools and frameworks for provisioning, configuration, and deployment to enhance efficiency. Orchestrate workflows and processes to streamline tasks and minimize manual intervention.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Establish monitoring and alerting systems to track the performance of cloud resources. Continuously optimize infrastructure for performance, addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Cost Optimization: Implement cost-effective solutions by optimizing resource utilization and leveraging pricing models. Regularly review and adjust resources based on actual usage and business needs.
  • Security and Compliance: Enforce robust security measures, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security. Stay informed about industry compliance standards and ensure cloud environments adhere to relevant regulations.
  • Business Alignment: Understand the organization's business objectives and align cloud strategies to support those goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators related to cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Communicate cloud strategies, progress, and challenges to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement & Automation: Stay informed about emerging technologies, tools, and best practices. Regularly assess the applicability of new technologies to enhance existing cloud infrastructure.
  • Your Superhero Uniform Includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • You have at least 3+ years of hands-on experience deploying, securing, and monitoring optimized Cloud services in AWS or other providers.
  • You have the skill and ability to notice/observe patterns and ways to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, optimize costs, and maintain performance at scale.
  • Experience in Containerization-Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Demonstratable experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible) development.
  • Proficient with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, and New Relic.
  • Well-versed with CI/CD using any industry tools(Jenkins, Harness etc.)
  • Your Superhero Strengths Include:

  • Develop software with one or more languages (C#, Java, Python, Go, )
  • Proficiency in one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) or large-scale SaaS on any platform
  • Know when to build new or leverage/enhance an existing solution to solve a challenge.
  • Application Hosting – Common patterns to host applications (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Networking – Security and connectivity between, into, and out of cloud services
  • Delivery – Deliver cloud applications and resources reliably and without downtime
  • Databases – Selecting and leveraging different database types and libraries
  • Provide common solutions to multiple teams by identifying and addressing patterns in infrastructure and applications
  • Drive best practices in library usage and end-to-end architecture
  • Work with other development teams to design scalable, robust systems using cloud-native architecture principles
  • Drive solutions for systems or applications at scale
