Senior Software Engineer - Pune, India - Altair Engineering

Job Summary:
We are looking for full stack developers with exposure to react framework and nosql and graph database technology. Little exposure to Microsoft .Net Framework specifically VB.Net and C# is preferred. You will be part of an international cross-functional team responsible for the complete software life cycle.


What You Will Do:
Enhance and maintain the current product by implementing new feature requests and fixing existing issuesWork with product managers to understand requirements

Test software to ensure responsiveness, functionality and efficiency

Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

Assist in technical documentation

What You Will Need:
Basics:Experience developing web applications using react.jsExperience working with back-end frameworks such as NodeJSExperience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL DB

Ability to understand and grasp large code baseFamiliarity with cloud environments (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, GCP)

Preferred:
Exposure to Model Based System Engineering and/or Simulation DomainExposure to developing applications in the .Net ecosystem, specifically with VB and C#Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or related disciplines
