    Job Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automation Engineer to join our team at SKF Boilers & Driers Pvt Ltd. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated systems to improve efficiency and productivity in our manufacturing processes. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India, and is ideal for someone with 2 to 5 years of experience in automation engineering.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or a related field
    • 2 to 5 years of experience in automation engineering
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical for designing electrical schematics
    • Strong knowledge of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming and configuration
    • Experience in MCC panel building & testing
    • Familiarity with sensors and actuators used in automation systems
    • Knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies for remote monitoring
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Designing and developing automation systems to improve manufacturing processes and increase efficiency
    • Programming and configuring Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to control machinery and equipment
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and develop automation solutions
    • Testing and troubleshooting automated systems to ensure proper functionality and identify any issues
    • Installing, maintaining, and repairing automation equipment, including motor control centers (MCCs), sensors, and actuators
    • Implementing Internet of Things (IoT) technologies for remote monitoring and control
    • Documenting system specifications, procedures, and user manuals
