Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Site Incharge / HOD (Steel Plant) with Executive to join our team at DCS Group. As the Mechanical Site Incharge / HOD, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical operations at our steel plant located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical operations, preferably in a steel plant
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in the steel industry

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the mechanical operations of our steel plant, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of all mechanical equipment
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance and minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance and production activities
• Manage a team of mechanical technicians and provide guidance and support
• Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to mechanical operations, including maintenance records and reports
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate best practices
